Brad & Johnny - The Waituna Challengers!
Brad and Johnny have combined to make a gun team to compete for Waituna Creek School. They expect to punch far above the weight of the small school! Some call it bravery, some call it being an "idiotic man", but Brad is completing the cycling leg against his doctor's orders after nearly requiring back surgery. His team won "le race" (a 100km road race) this year, so he brings some heavy hitting credentials. Johnny is no slouch in the running department either. Having completed the Coast to Coast back in 2008 he's desperately hoping that the fitness will have lasted (even if the hair hasn't!). Show your support and back the Waituna Creek crew!

The "Whitehorse Challenge" is an event where teams of two complete both a physical and fundraising challenge. The team will split up, with one completing an 18km run, and the other a 25km mountainbike along some stunning new tracks in Waimate, as part of the "Waimate Big Easy" even, on April 9 this year. Each team will need to raise $500 to enter the challenge, with funds being to disbursed to local, regional, and national charities. The beneficiaries will include Kids Can, South Canterbury Hospice, Centrecare Counselling, Whitehorse MTB Club, and further local groups via the Rotary Club of Waimate.
