Whitehorse Challenge 2018

The Waimate Rotary Club is running the popular "Whitehorse Challenge" again in April 2018!

Teams of two complete both a physical and a fundraising challenge. The team will split up, with one completing an 18km run, and the other a 25km mountain bike along some stunning new tracks in Waimate, as part of the "Waimate Big Easy" event.

Each team will need to raise $500 to enter the challenge, with funds being to disbursed to local, regional, and national charities. The beneficiaries will include Land SAR - Search & Rescue, Kiwisport, Centrecare Counselling, Whitehorse MTB Club, Waimate School of Music and further local groups via the Rotary Club of Waimate.

Your team will receive a pre-made Give-a-Little page to aid in your fundraising efforts, so the sky is the limit in terms of how your team reaches the $500 target. Get your workplace, friends, or partner together and really get the endorphins flowing by combining exercise and charity! Your colleagues and friends may also like to enter one of our companion run or bike events on the day.

Note: Your give-a-little page will be linked to the Waimate Rotary Club, and therefore all donations will be tax deductible.

Don't be afraid to accept the challenge, and remember our team will be here with you the whole way to assist in your fundraising efforts, including passing on many of the great ideas that each group comes up with along the way!
