Meet Team Anna & Scott!

We have our first team for the inaugural Whitehorse Challenge! The challenge is a team event, one team member runs 18km through the Whitehorse Big Easy tracks, and the other completes a 25km bike ride.

The Whitehorse Challenge is part of the Quantum Advantage Whitehorse Big Easy, 'run it - walk it - bike it ' event to be held at the Waimate A&P Showgrounds on April 9 next year.

Teams must fundraise $500 via a give-a-little page to enter, funds raised go to selected charities and to further develop the local Waimate tracks for the benefit of the community.

We are looking for teams of two to enter and compete to be the inaugural champions. With such a prestigious title up for grabs we expect teams to flood in from businesses and organisations across Canterbury and Otago! Limited to 40 teams in total so get in quick.

A dash of peer pressure and a large desire from a "lazy girl that wants to get fit and help the children" saw Anna and Scott become the first team to enter the 2017 Whitehorse Challenge. Scott, a Plumber and Drainlayer has put his hand up for the bike leg, while Anna, a local Vet is reluctantly resuming her running career that has been on a hiatus since the high school cross-country champs of 07'. Get along to their give-a-little page and show your support!

After signing up, Anna and Scott are keen to put the challenge out to the local tradies in town. Scott previously worked for Blair Wilce and has experienced the "competitive spirit" of a few end of year golf events! Which trade will come out on top in the inaugural event???
